The 'Inflected Landscape' interrogates a twenty metre cut, into the underlying sandstone geology of the Balmain Peninsula, to generate a new urban form. By inflecting the site's underlying natural characteristics with its contrasting industrialised composition, the 'Inflected Landscape' is able to demonstrate how former maritime industrial sites can creatively contribute towards a sustainable future.
