In terms of this design sustainability is not just a material application - it’s an attitude. Currently Bondi Junction does not offer the tools to its residents to encourage growth in its density and make the precinct more attractive to family groups.

The result was an URBAN GENERATION CENTRE. It is essentially a community centre offering multiple facilities for a growing community. The difference lies in way it goes about encouraging this community interaction through physical and visual connections both within the building and from outside. Through a combination of flexible spaces, the design has a level of adaptability built in through its parasitic quality and essentially can be manipulated to suit a multitude of needs.
